This is difficult to answer as it varies from student to student. It also depends on how many hours of weekly tuition you undertake. However, to give you an idea, in 10 lessons we would expect someone with no experience to get to an "Advanced Beginner" level - where they will have the tools to construct basic sentences.
Homework greatly assists progress so we prefer assigning it, but if your schedule is manic or you simply don’t feel like it, that’s fine, too. We can work around your ambitions and schedule. However, if you do wish to be assigned with homework, you can expect homework assignments to take between 1 and 2 hours a week.
The lessons have a minimum duration of 60 minutes. However, our teachers are extremely flexible so you can book up to 3 hours for a single lesson.
Depends on you. We suggest between two and three 60-minute lessons per week.
We teach Castilian Spanish which originates from Spain and British English which originates from England. However, you will be able to communicate and understand both languages in native speaking countries worldwide.

In order for our students to receive an outstanding teaching and learning experience, a minimum requirement at Instituto Du’Rose is for all teachers to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from an accredited University in the United Kingdom and 3 years teaching experience!
The first step is to choose the number of lessons you wish to participate in. You can then create an account and pay for the lesson or bundle. All payments can be made online using any bank card, Revolut, Stripe, or PayPal. Once you have paid you will then be directed to the booking calendar to choose a time and day which best suits you.
Full payment must reach us at least 48 hours in advance to confirm the lesson.
Unfortunately, all payments are non-refundable. However, you are most welcome to nominate a friend or family member to undertake the lesson instead.
Yes, all we ask for is at least 24 hours’ notice so we can reorganise our diaries and hopefully book another class in place. Unfortunately, we do not offer rescheduling for cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours of the lesson.
An assessment of your Spanish skills, course material, a tailored lesson and a private tutor.
No, you do not need to buy a textbook. Everything is included in the course fees. Your teacher will provide all necessary learning materials. However, if you’d prefer to use a textbook, please let your teacher know and we will make a recommendation that’s just right for your level and goals.
All lessons are online; therefore, you only need your device. However, I would suggest that you have a notepad and pen if you do not want to create an electronic document for your work.
We work every day including weekends from 7:00am to 8:00pm, bear in mind that the price increases if the lessons are over the weekend, and after 6:00pm.
Flexibility is important for us. Therefore, as long as we have availability, you can change the days every week to suit your schedule.
